So basically, I am at college and in the midst of my studies, I fell upon some ancient text from the book of... well... Derekiah. It basically summed up my life on last Friday.

The College Life According to
Derekiah
Derekiah laments about the labors and strife of college life

  1. And it came to pass, in those days, that Derekiah began to grieve much for the many trials and tribulations which did come upon him.
  2. And so, in the ninth month, on the fourth day of the ninth month of the ninth year of the new millennium Derekiah, being compelled to speak unto the people of his tragedies, stood atop his Rameumptum and began to speak unto the people saying:
  3. Behold, I have grieved a grief which is grievous to grieve on this Day of Labor. Behold, the morning of the fourth day of the ninth month, I journeyed to the land called, in the English tongue, Campus, which is to say, Campus, and as I journeyed, behold, I learned to my great astonishment that I did not make the male chorus in the land of University.
  4. I was astonished with an exceedingly great astonishment, nevertheless, I was not troubled.
  5. Therefore, I saw that it was expedient that I should labor, and so it came to pass that I labored and toiled for five hours, and it was not sufficient in me that I should eat, therefore I did hunger.
  6. And after much laboring, and being taken with much hunger, I did leave my place of labor and did travel to the place in which I did place my bicycle, and again behold, to my utter astonishment, I did find that my bike had been stolen.
  7. And it came to pass that I did search diligently for my bicycle nevertheless, I did not find it, so therefore I did again travel on foot to the land of Wyview.
  8. And it came to pass that I did take up my Bicycle Registration Form and began again to hasten to Campus to the Traffic Office in that land, but behold, again, to my great and exceeding astonishment they refused me at the doors, and it came to pass that they would not help me.
  9. Now in these things was I saddened, for behold, it was just not my day, but I remembered the words from my youth: If you chance to meet a frown, do not let it stay. Make the world a better place and smile that frown away.
  10. Behold this thing did bring me much joy, and I did return to the land of my dwelling.
  11. Thus were the words of Derekiah as he spoke to the people. And it came to pass that a week did pass and Derekiah had peace, and there was no contention or disputings. And thus it came to pass that Derekiah had a freakin awesome rest of the week.
